The End Is Where It Begins
Broadchurch is a TV drama filmed mainly in West Bay, Dorset (coastal scenes) and Clevedon near Bristol (street scenes). The cast includes David Tennant, Olivia Colman, Andrew Buchan, Jodie Whittaker, Charlotte Rampling, Pauline Quirke and Arthur Darvill.
It seemed the murder of 11 year old Danny Latimer had been solved by Detective Inspector Alec Hardy. But to the shock of everyone in the courtroom including the accused's lawyer, Joe Miller pleads "Not Guilty". The prosecution calls for an experienced Q.C. living in Broadchurch (played by Charlotte Rampling). In the meantime, a past case of Hardy's still haunts him in the form of Sandbrook.
Broadchurch Series 2 Cast on East Beach at West Bay
Claire Ripley was the key witness in the Sandbrook case involving two cousins. One is missing while the other was murdered, believed to have been killed by Lee Ashworth, the girls’ dashingly handsome neighbour and Clair's former husband, who walked free when his trial collapsed. With Ashworth now stalking her, Claire has come to Broadchurch looking for protection.

It was written by Chris Chibnall who also wrote Life on Mars, Torchwood, Law & Order UK, Born & Bred and Camelot (TV mini series). At the time of writing Broadchurch Series 2, Chris Chibnall lived in Bridport, Dorset.
