At 3pm, on Saturday, 17th April, drama lovers (and tearoom addicts) are invited into the domestic womb of 'The Tearoom', where dark secrets, hidden loves and shrouded plans unfold.  Inspired by the intricacies of human life exposed through conversations held among the familial teapots and sugar spoons of the local tearoom, this intimate drama is a poignant exploration of human nature in its most extraordinary sphere: the relationship.

Audiences will enjoy a cuppa and some delicious cake in Bridport Art Centre's own tearoom, for a rare opportunity to openly eavesdrop on the play’s twelve characters.  The range of personalities and their interactions explore the many different ways in which humans love, and how we can redefine ourselves beyond what we believe is expected, or even think is possible.
