Black Buoy Cup Swim

Resurrected in 2007 following a dormant period from 1983,
the Black Buoy Swim dates back to 1907.

The race is approximately 1225 metres, swimming out to a marker buoy and back, from a standing start on the beach.
Entrants must be competent sea swimmers and should be residents of Bridport and surrounding areas.
Minimum age - 14 years old.

Organised by the Bridport based Barracudas Swimming Club, the winners' cups are provided by the Bridport Swimming Club.
