West Dorset District Council is once again hosting Residents Week, providing
all residents with the opportunity to take advantage of some fantastic offers.
The idea of the event is to show appreciation for the local community's
continued support of tourism in the area and to provide residents with the
chance to re-acquaint themselves with the attractions on their doorstep. 28
venues have opted to participate this year. Each household in West Dorset will

There is more to willow than making baskets! We will start by making a
simple wigwam suitable for sweet peas and go on to create hurdles and fans
for climbing plants, and some small edging hurdles for borders. You can
expect to make 3 or 4 items each so leave space for these in your car on the
journey home! The cost of materials (about £10) will be due on the day of
