Bridport Every Thursday at 2.30pm from the Tourist Information Centre, South Street. Discover the footpaths and alleys of this fascinating Saxon town and what it means to be stabbed by the Bridport Dagger.

Dorchester Every Tuesday at 11am from the Tourist Information Centre, Antelope Walk. Explore the County Town and uncover its past from Judge Jeffreys’ Bloody Assize to Thomas Hardy’s Casterbridge and the Roman occupation. 05/08 - 04/11 Dorset Feather Stitchery: Bringing Colour To The 1950's Dorset County Museum, High West Street, Dorchester, closed Sundays. This nostalgic exhibition looks back to the 1950's, when a devoted group of WI members developed a popular new style of embroidery. The colourful innovation of Dorset Feather Stitchery did much to brighten the post-war austerity years.
