different species can be spotted. The Ferrybridge walk, which will leave
from the Crab Restaurant, behind the Ferrybridge Pub, at 2.00 pm, is about
1.5 miles in length and will be led by Don Moxom, warden of the Chesil
Beach centre. If you have binoculars, bring them along to help spot any
migrants, waders or other birds. £3 for adults and £1 for children. The
Abbotsbury walk leaves from the Swannery at 10.30am and will last about 2
hours and also costs £3 for adults and £1 for children.

17 Great Beach Clean Come and help clean up the
Fleet! Although rubbish is continually being collected, we need your help
to rid the Fleet shoreline and surrounding area of debris left by winds
and tides. We supply bags for collecting the rubbish and there will be
marshals in appropriate places, including the Oyster Farm, Chesil Beach
Centre, Camp Road, Pirates Cove and Littlesea. Everyone is welcome, so
come along at 10am and wear wellies or walking shoes. Thank you in advance
for your help to make this special corner of Dorset litter free. Further

18 Low Tide Exploration This is your chance to see
the marine life of a rocky shore, exposed only at spring low tide. Meet at
1.00pm at the bottom of Camp Road, Fleet and bring a small bucket, so that
you can view some of the interesting marine life that we shall find. It is
advisable to wear wellies or water sandals. The walk will not exceed 1.5
miles and last just over an hour. Bring the family as the nominal charge
is only £1 and 50p for children.
